Stay up to date, beyond the finish line

Hi all,
As the project draws to a close, I have been thinking about my next steps and how I can keep in touch with you gallant adventurers.
I have thoroughly enjoyed making monthly updates here on Kickstarter, and I will continue to do this in a more general sense through a monthly newsletter. I'll share everything I'm working on, including free resources, new products and content (such as Deck of Many Thursdays content I have been working on recently, best viewed on my Instagram page).
I'll also run a monthly giveaway for subscribers, where one lucky subscriber will win a prize each month. If you fancy the chance for free loot (or just want to keep up to date with my work), subscribe now.
This month, the giveaway is for the full set of Character Journal files. If you backed the project and win, I'll share an extra copy of the files with a friend, replace the prize with store credit, or adjust the prize to best suit you.
In terms of next steps after the completion of this project, there's a lot on my list:
Preparing videos that show the Character Journal creation/update process (if I haven't already), and that show the Journal in use
Preparing short DnD concept videos that cover important rules (resting, spellcasting, on your turn etc)
Preparing a new Kickstarter to expand the Character Journal with custom covers and pages for more subclasses
Booking a table at a local convention – this will be a new adventure indeed!
Want to keep up to date with all of that? Don't forget to subscribe!
Thank you so much for your support. I honestly couldn't have done this without you.
Happy adventuring!

February finances

Hail, adventurers!
Another month of development has passed (Update 29), and the project is approaching completion. The project's finances for February are shown below.
I had a little curve-ball as my trusty old printer became locked in an error state and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. As a result, I decided to use a large portion of the remaining project finances to buy an economic liquid ink printer. I've called her Prisma, because she has been producing oh so many colors, and we're already best buddies!
As always, thanks so much for your support, and happy adventuring!

February Update
– Mon, Feb 27, 2023 at 10:15:23 AM
Hail adventurers!
Almost there! I still hope I'll be ready to fulfil by the end of March.
I'll share both February progress and remaining activities in this update.
February progress
I made great progress on covers, having now prepared covers for two thirds of the classes and subclasses on the list.
Check out some of the new covers below.
Monk front cover in two styles, colored or black icon
Two Warlock Subclass Alternate front covers
I have also been exploring different methods you can use to bind a Journal. While my favorite binding method is comb binding, you may not want to spend the ~£35 on a comb binding machine, so it's important to provide a range of options. I've explored 4 different options that you can use to bind your Journals without a machine, and it's even possible to bind a Journal using simple thick string (e.g. packaging string)! I'll provide a table that summarizes the key features of each method, including machine and/or peripheral peripheral cost, and a showcase of images of bound Journals using each method.
Surveys have now been sent! If you haven't received yours yet, you should do soon.
Remaining activities
The main work left is summarized below:
Covers - Just 5 more class covers and 2 Warlock subclass alternate covers left to go!
Finishing touches - This includes finishing a few guide and overview documents, including the main Creating your Journal guide (including what I've learned about binding methods), organizing files for fulfilment etc.
Preparation and assembly videos - I want to put together videos showing how to prepare and assemble a Character Journal. These won't be needed by everyone, and the Journal includes detailed guide documents you can follow, but I'm all about making things as easy as possible, so this is important to me. If you want to be one of the first to see the videos, make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel. Depending on how quickly I progress, I may fulfil the project before putting these videos together, and put them together shortly afterwards.
Closing
So close now! I hope that I'll be ready to fulfil by the end of March!
Thank you so much for supporting me, and congratulations if you made it to the end of this update! If you have any feedback or questions on anything related to the project, please get in touch, either here or on my Discord server.
I'll be posting a project finances update within the next few days. Until then, or until next time, happy adventuring!
