We're off to an excellent start and the project is over 50% funded in just a few days. Thanks so much for your support!
This highlighted the project's need for stretch goals, so I've now added the first set: alternate class icons and covers to support customization based on subclasses. Realization of these 12 stretch goals will fund the development of alternate class icons and covers for all subclasses in official DND source books for each of the 12 classes. Files including alternate icons and covers unlocked through these stretch goals will be available to all backers choosing the respective class for their Print at Home pledge rewards, and will also be available for selection for printed Journals.
Typically, crowdfunding projects spread out more attractive rewards across a range of target funding milestones to subliminally encourage backers to pledge more. I do things differently. The ability to customize the Journal is a key design principle, and one of the main reasons I'm developing the Journal is to support immersion during DND play, for which customization is important. For this reason, I've ordered these stretch goals to support customization based on subclass for the classes that I feel it is most important first, both based on how applicable the general class icon I have in mind is to different subclasses and my understanding of the demographic of how many players play each class.
